Grevillea on flax tea towel
The linen fabric we use retains the natural colour of the flax fibre from the plant Linum Usitatissimum. Linen grows with natural rainfall and requires minimal fertiliser or pesticide use. Crops are rarely troubled by insects because its purplish/blue flowers only last for one or two days. After being processed the fibre may be bleached or kept natural before being spun into yarn or woven linen fabric. It is an excellent fabric to print on.
