Tassel flower on oat-coloured tea towel

This tea towel is printed in two colours on oatmeal-coloured linen fabric. It shows the Tassel Flower (Leucopogon verticillatus), an understorey plant, native to the karri, marri and jarrah forests and woodlands in the southwest of Western Australia. They are a plant with a very long history, being a member of the Ericaceae family, which flourished when Australia was still a part of the supercontinent Gondwana.
