Grass trees black t-shirt
This image is of a Western Australian grass tree (Xanthorrhoea preissii), also known as balga by the Noongar people of the South West. Grass tree resin was used for attaching spearheads and repairing wooden containers; nectar from the flowers for a sweet-tasting drink; and flower spikes as a compass (flowers on the warmer, north facing side open first).
Our hand printed t-shirts are made from 100% certified organic cotton made under fair working conditions. All production stages are carbon neutral, with minimal environmental impact.
